Some Nigerians have demanded justice in the ongoing alleged serial violence case involving Hadiza Musa Baffa and the former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki.

The Coordinator of Charity Initiative, ROACI, Nigeria, Mrs. Amina Olutayo, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

Olutayo described Hadiza’s ordeal as a harrowing account of alleged repeated sexual abuse and emotional manipulation.

“This is not just a personal matter; it is a national emergency,” she stated.

“It is about protecting the dignity of Nigerian women and standing up against institutional abuse. No woman should ever be forced to choose between silence and survival.”

Meanwhile, Turaki has dismissed the allegations by Hadiza.

Recall in February 2025, the Federal High Court in Abuja restrained the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) from tendering a DNA test result against Turaki.

In a ruling by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja, he said, “Upon studying the motion ex-parte and the averments in the affidavit in support, including the affidavit of urgency, I am of the opinion that the prayers cannot be granted without hearing from the respondents.”

The paternity dispute between Hadiza and Turaki has been a lingering matter in Nigeria’s public discourse.
