Paper works being finalized for release of Buhari’s remains to Nigerian Govt

There are indications that paper works are being finalized for the release of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s remains to the Nigerian government.

Buhari who was battling with an unknown illness, died in a London Clinic on Sunday at about 4.30 pm.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other top government functionaries are in London to bring Buhari’s remains back to Nigeria.

Channels Television reported that Shettima and other Nigerian top government officials are helping to facilitate the final paper works for the release of Buhari’s remains.

Meanwhile, Governor Umar Radda of Katsina State has disclosed that Buhari’s corpse would arrive Nigeria tomorrow (Tuesday) by 12:00 pm.

Radda also disclosed that Buhari’s corpse would be laid to rest tomorrow (Tuesday) by 2:00 pm in his hometown, Daura.
