Despite the disappointing showing, cheering them all the way has been Guzman, a model and influencer who is not shy about her support of the national team.
She posted a video of herself getting behind her team against Ghana on Instagram and wrote afterwards: “Today those kids left their hearts on that field, what adrenaline and nerves. Sorry for my swearing. Panama deserved to win.”
As well as being proud of her support of her national team, she is even less shy about flaunting her stunning figure, regularly wowing fans with fiery outfits on her social media accounts.
The 37-year-old has over 1.2million followers, and another 77,000 on TikTok.
There she posts glimpses into her glitzy lifestyle, including sun-soaked snaps in bikinis and figure-hugging dresses.
The celebrity personality also posts collaborations with various clothing and make-up brands.
Her collaborative efforts even extended to the world of music, appearing in Panamanian DJ Dimelo Flow’s video for his single “La Demora” in December.
The US-based musician boasts over six million monthly listeners on Spotify, and had even sparked rumours of a romance with Guzman before she confirmed that their interactions were purely work related.

She was then invited earlier this year to feature in the famous Las Tablas Carnival in her home country.
Guzman was invited to perform on top of a float in a flamboyant, sparkling outfit, complete with a huge feathered headdress and costume wings.
That party was as big as the celebrations when Panama secured their spot at this year’s tournament.
The Central American minnows secured their spot with a 3-0 win over El Salvador last November.

And in the crowd, in Panama colours, was Guzman.
She wrote in an ecstatic message to social media: “If anyone is late for work tomorrow, UNDERSTAND! See you on 50th Street!
“MY PANAMA GO TO THE WORLD CUP.”
And that World Cup fever has hardly waned in the months since.
Guzman posted an apparently AI video of herself watching a game from the stands with a scoreboard reading Panama 3, England 1.
She’ll be hoping they can do something similar on Saturday and put a huge spanner in the works of Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
