On paper, former French special forces soldier Saint-Denis is arguably the toughest test of Pimblett’s career.
Many fans have tipped BSD to buzzsaw through the recent interim lightweight title challenger.
, however, is confident of upsetting the applecart and getting his 155lbs title hopes back on track.
And he foresees himself doing so before the final horn sounds.
He told TNT Sports: “Preparation is going great. I think he’s a very good fighter.
“I respect BSD, I think he’s very intense. He comes forward and tries to finish fights.
“He’s never won past the second round, but he’s not going to get past the second round with me.
“I’ve got cleaner striking than him. I’m a better grappler and I’ve got better cardio.

Although he’s confident of having his hand raised, Pimbett admits that BSD possesses some dangerous tools in his arsenal.
He said: “BSD’s biggest threat is his left body kick or wherever he throws it, his left kick and his backhand.

“He’s got power and he throws everything with intent.
“He does try and take everyone down.
“But I can’t see him trying to take me down because he knows I’ll submit him.”
