Osun FRSC Sector Commander calls for commitment to road safety

The Osun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Leye Adegboyega has charged motorists in the state to be law abiding and to commit themselves to being safe road users.

Adegboyega while stressing that road safety is a shared responsibility also reiterated the commitment of the FRSC in the state to the discharge of its statutory duties and responsibilities towards creating a safe motoring environment and minimising road traffic crashes in the state.

Adegboyega gave this charge while celebrating beneficiaries of the 2025 FRSC staff promotion exercise during a decoration ceremony in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The Osun FRSC boss while disclosing that personnel from the Command recorded 100 percent success, added that all its personnel who participated in the exercise all passed and were promoted.

He also revealed that another decoration will be held for the Marshals on Thursday September 18, 2025, for their success in the promotion examinations.

He said, “It is noteworthy that the Command recorded 100% success, as all its personnel that participated in the exercise all passed and were promoted.

“In the same vein, another decoration will be held for the Marshals on Thursday 18th September 2025, for their success in the promotion examinations.

“This is a testament to the magnanimity and commitment to staff welfare of the Management of the FRSC, headed by the Corps Marshal, Sheu Mohammed, mni.”

He encouraged the promoted Officers to reciprocate the good gesture of the FRSC Management with hard work, dedication and commitment to duty.

He also added that promotion is a recognition for hard work and commitment, which called for more hard work and commitment to the attainment of the set goals of the Corps.

Adegboyega also appreciated the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for his unflinching support and commitment to road safety practice at all times.
