Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has identified Liverpool’s Alexander Isak as the superior striker compared to Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen.
Robson made this remark after Osimhen played a crucial role in leading Galatasaray to victory over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
It’s worth noting that Osimhen’s penalty in the first half secured a 1-0 win for the hosts against the Premier League champions at Rams Park.
After Galatasaray's triumph over Liverpool, Robson stated that he considers Isak to be slightly better than Osimhen.
“So he [Osimhen] is a center forward, and if you compare Isak and him, I would still say Isak is marginally better, but he’s not far behind,” Robson commented on ESPN FC.
So far this season, Osimhen has scored three goals in five matches for Galatasaray.
In contrast, Isak has found the net only once for the Reds since transferring to Arne Slot’s team from Newcastle United during the summer.
