Club Brugge have claimed the 2024/25 season Belgian Cup title, DAILY POST reports.

Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika played a crucial role in the 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Anderlecht at the King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels.

It was the 12th time Club Brugge will be winning the Belgian Cup.

Romeo Vermant scored both goals for Club Brugge in the thrilling final.

Onyedika was in action for 74 minutes before he was replaced by Hugo Vetlesen.

The 24-year-old was booked in the 22nd minute of the encounter.

Club Brugge are now on course to win the double in Belgium this season.

Nicky Hayen’s side currently occupy second position on the league table, one point behind leaders Union Saint-Gillloise.
