Olubadan: Six weeks after Olakulehin’s transition, Ladoja arrives Ibadan

Six weeks after the transition of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja has returned to the ancient city after his travels.

Ladoja was reportedly out of Ibadan prior to the transition of Olakulehin.

The Olubadan joined his ancestors, Monday 7th July 2025 and was buried on Friday 8th August.

The former governor, who in arrived Ibadan Monday afternoon, headed to his family home in Arusa compound, Isale Osi, Ibadan South West local government area.

The former governor, who is now the new Olubadan in waiting, was received by family members, traditional title holders and well-wishers.
