The Paramount Ruler of Idoma Worldwide, Och’Idoma Agaba-Idu, Elaigwu Obagaji, has been appointed as the Chancellor of Federal University, Otuoke, located in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
According to DAILY POST, the appointment ceremony occurred on Thursday at the university’s main campus, coinciding with the institution’s second combined convocation, which also included a convocation lecture.
Upon accepting this role, the Idoma monarch committed to serving with sincerity and dedication.
“I will serve with transparency, goodwill, and a genuine intent to make this institution a center of excellence and pride,” he stated.
“The Federal University of Otuoke has the crucial task of nurturing individuals who can innovate, build, and heal our great nation,” he added.
In response, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council, Ali Sa’ad Birnin Kudu, expressed confidence that this installation would lead to significant positive changes within the institution.
