Super Falcons midfielder, Deborah Abiodun has been honored as the Rookie of the Month for September in the Nigeria Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

During the month in question, Abiodun started in three of Washington Spirit’s four league matches.

This marks the first time she has received this award.

The 21-year-old excelled among midfielders in possession in the central third of the field, achieving an impressive passing accuracy of 87.3%.

Abiodun was recalled by Washington Spirit from her loan at Dallas Trinity in August.
