Bayelsa Queens players have been rewarded with N400,000 for claiming the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, title.
Whyte Ogbonda’s side won the title after thrashing Naija Ratels 4-1 in their final NWFL playoff game in Ikenne on Saturday.
The Prosperity Girls top the standings with 10 games from five games.
It’s the sixth time Bayelsa Queens will be winning the NWFL title.
The Bayelsa State government will also host the players and officials on their return to Yenagoa.
They will feature in the WAFU B Champions League later this year.
