Nova Scotia to provide COVID-19 update on Tuesday

Nova Scotia health officials are expected to provide an update on COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Premier Iain Rankin will meet with chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang at 11:45 a.m.

The briefing will be livestreamed on the Global News Halifax website.

Nova Scotia reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Monday and its highest active case count since mid-December.

There have been 686 positive COVID-19 cases and one death since the start of the second wave in the province on Oct. 1.
