Nottingham Forest v West Ham clash delayed for medical emergency in crowd

NOTTINGHAM FOREST’S Premier League clash with West Ham was momentarily delayed due to a medical emergency in the stands.

The incident occurred in the 49th minute of the contest at the City Ground.

A Forest paramedic rushed across the pitch to assist the supporter.

The match was able to get back underway following a two-minute delay.

Forest and West Ham were locked at 0-0 when the brief delay occurred.

Plenty of speculation surrounded the future of home boss Nuno Espirito Santo going into the match.

The former Tottenham boss recently claimed that his relationship with club supremo Evangelos Marinakis had “changed” and that they were not “so close” as previously.
