Nottingham Forest ‘targeting shock transfer for Jordan Henderson, 35, who can leave Ajax for free due to unusual clause’

NOTTINGHAM FOREST are interested in signing England star Jordan Henderson, according to reports.

The former Liverpool captain is attracting interest from several clubs after working his way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

Ligue 1 side Marseille are also believed to be monitoring Henrson’s situation.

The midfielder can leave Ajax for free due to a clause in his contract, which has alerted Forest, according to the Daily Mail.

If that clause is triggered before mid July Henderson would be allowed to walk away from the Dutch club for nothing.

And a return to the Prem could appeal to the 35-year-old, who is keen to play in the World Cup next year.
