A member of the Northern Elders Forum, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has said that nobody is entirely happy with the way the country is going.
Baba-Ahmed stated this on Wednesday while responding to questions on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.
The former senior adviser to President Bola Tinubu said there is too much hunger, insecurity and bloodshed in the country.
According to him, the forum was not surprised by his decision to walk away from his appointment as adviser to President Tinubu.
He said: “Some members of the Northern Elders Forum knew about my feelings about the job, about the administration, about the direction this country was going. They knew I was unhappy about many things. So it wasn’t entirely a surprise when I walked around and said I am back.
“Nobody would tell you that they are entirely happy with the way the country is going. There is too much hunger, insecurity, and bloodshed.”
