Kada Warriors head coach, Danlami Kwasau Umar says his team’s commitment was key to their relegation survival in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

The Kaduna-based club survived relegation on the final day of the regular season with a 2-1 victory over Adamawa United.

Danlami Umar’s side finished in sixth position with 15 points from 12 matches in the NNL Group D table.

Umar assured that the team will regroup and get better for next season.

“Since the day I took over at the club coach the commitment from me and the players has been top notch,”;; Umar told the club’s media.

“We knew that we had to do everything to survive which we eventually did, as it is the team is already taking shape and it’s a work in progress.

“It’s a different thing when you trying to survive and when you playing for promotion with this we will restart and see how we can get it done next season.”;;
