Sporting Lagos head coach, Jeffery Buter, has commended his players for their performance in the win over Doma United.

The modest club beat Doma United 4-0 in a Matchday Two fixture of the Nigeria National League, NNL, Super Six playoff in Ikenne on Wednesday.

Buter said the performance was an improvement from their opening fixture in the competition.

“I’m pleased with the performance from my players. It’s a lot better than the first game,” Buter told the club’s media.

“The performance against Doma United is our standard, and we have to keep going like this.

“We are not a finished product. Game by game, these boys will get better.”
