Barau FC players have been rewarded with the sum of N2 million for qualifying for the Nigeria National League, NNL Super Eight playoff.
The owner of the club, Barau I. Jibrin, made the donation to the players during his visit to their training ground on Monday.
Barau FC, alongside Wikki Tourists, qualified from Conference C.
He assured continued support for Barau FC until the club secures promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League, NPFL next season.
“We are here to visit and motivate you, the young players of Barau FC,”; Barau stated.
“My vision is to see this club among the top teams in Nigeria and eventually in the world. By the grace of God, I will support you in every possible way to gain promotion to the NPFL.”;
