Kano Ambassadors FC beat Discovery Academy 2-0 in the final match of their group to finish with nine points at the Gumel Stadium in Jigawa.
Warinje FC picked up seven points from three matches to top their group in Jos.
They defeated DMD FC 3-0 in the final match of the group on Sunday.
