Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman fuels exit from Atalanta after skipping training for third day

Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman shunned training for the third consecutive day as he seeks to force a move to Inter Milan this summer transfer window.

Lookman, who did not show up for training on Wednesday and has completely left Italy, failed to report for training on Monday and on Tuesday after submitting a transfer request last weekend, as reported by TouchlineX.

The Nigerian has already agreed personal terms with Inter Milan.

The Nerrazzuri’s €45m offer has, however, been rejected by Atalanta.

Lookman has decided to continue his protest hoping that it will force La Dea to have a change of mind.

The 28-year-old star has two years left on his contract with the Bergamo club.

Lookman led Atalanta to win the UEFA Europa League trophy in the past, scoring three goals in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
