Afrobeats artist Stanley Omah Didia, widely known as Omah Lay, has stated that the Nigerian music industry is becoming dull.

The ‘Soso’ hitmaker has promised to invigorate African music soon.

On his Snapchat, Omah Lay stated, “The music industry is incredibly boring! Spirit is coming to shake up the continent shortly.”

This statement follows concerns raised by another Nigerian artist, Slimcase, who noted that the sounds of Afrobeats artists are becoming monotonous.

The Shaku Shaku performer encouraged Afrobeats artists to release fewer songs to create excitement and anticipation for their new music.
