Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, revealed that he sometimes has to tell Moses Simon to “calm down”;.
Simon won his 81st cap for Nigeria in the 1-1 draw with Russia onFriday.
So far, the 29-year-old has scored 10 times for the three-time African champions and provided 15 assists.
His relentless and energetic style of play has now earned him praise from Chelle, who also said Simon is very eager to wear the green and white.
“I am so proud of Moses. Whenever it’s a FIFA free day, he calls me saying he wants to come,”; Chelle told Flashscore.
“Most times, I tell him to calm down, but he insists, ‘No, I want to play.’
