Nigerian brothers Kalu and Ike Uche scored Tuesday to give Nigeria a 2-0 friendly win over Zambia and coach Stephen Keshi his first victory in charge of the team.
Kalu scored in the ninth minute and Ike made it 2-0 in the 90th but Nigeria still played poorly at Ahmadu Bello Stadium, with poor midfield play and goalkeeping nearly allowing Zambia to score several times.
Nigeria drew 0-0 with Botswana in a friendly on Saturday under Keshi, who replaced the fired Samson Siasia after the team had failed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations.
