The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved the establishment of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) and the Niger State Secondary Education Board. He emphasized the importance of transparency, responsible resource management, and effective execution of educational policies.

The leadership of the newly formed NSUBEB includes Ibrahim A Liman as chairman, Monday Emigi as member I, Mohammed Mudi as member II, Samuel Makotso as member III, Malik Madaki Bosso as member IV, Mohammed Mamman Auna as member V, and Dr. Aminu Wushishi as the board's secretary.

The newly constituted Secondary Education Board will be led by Abdulkadir Isah Nafuntuwa as chairman, with Mohammed Madami Evuti as member I, Salihu Danladi as member II, Yusuf Yakubu Salka as member III, Dr. Yinti Usman as member IV, Abubakar Garo as member V, and Dr. Ahmed Egbako as the secretary.
