But now, Nicola has been scrubbed from the Yogi’s House website and has unfollowed them online, according to the Daily Mail .
The website credits Emma Kenney as the person who founded Yogi’s House in 2022.
doesn’t follow Emma on social media and has removed Yogi’s House from her Instagram profile and now just describes herself as a “dog activist.”
The actress skirted around the reason she parted ways with the charity in a statement.
A spokesperson for Nicola said: “Nicola is humbled by the work Yogi’s House does to support dog welfare in California.
“Nicola is proud to have been a founding partner of Yogi’s House and she’s currently considering other opportunities to support dog welfare in anyway possible.
“This is her true passion in life and she will never give up on the dogs.”
Nicola’s split from the foundation will surely leave fans stunned as she was not long ago spamming her Instagram stories with dogs from the LA-based dog centre.
When Brooklyn shocked the world back in January with his scathing six-page statement on his parents one of the reasons he listed for turning his back on them was their lack of support.
Brooklyn, 27, claimed England footie legend David and singer-turned-fashion-designer Victoria by the charity to rescue pets affected by the Los Angeles fires and transport them to safe foster homes.
While ‘s family donated a total of $10,300, he claimed Victoria “refused” to help despite it being one of Nicola’s biggest passions.
He said in the statement: “We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family.’
“But the one time my wife asked for my mom’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mom refused.”
Elsewhere in the bombshell statement, amateur chef Brooklyn also to Nicola as well as calling them “controlling.”
Public records have raised questions regarding the organisation’s status; despite branding itself as a non-profit, the rescue is not currently registered with the IRS or the State of California.”
The non-profit says it “works tirelessly to save dogs from the euthanasia lists of overcrowded California shelters,” and wants to make adoption “joyous” and “hassle-free.”
Speaking on how the foundation was born, Nicola said in an interview in 2023: “Last year, my publicist Alex Schack and our friend Emma Kenney and I started rescuing dogs from shelters.
“And it’s taken over every single second that I’m not working.
“It started when Emma was trying to adopt this dog named Yogi, and she posted on Instagram asking for help because she was stuck in traffic and the shelter was going to euthanize him if she was late.”
