The agrarian community of Idogun in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State was engulfed in tension on Friday following an attack on the community's monarch, the Onidogun of Idogun, Oba Moses Bakare, by local youths.
The monarch's wife was also assaulted and reportedly stripped partially, while the traditional ruler's son, Prince Victor Bakare, became embroiled in the chaos.

Displaying the injuries inflicted by the angry youths, Victor expressed confusion over the motive behind the attack.
He stated: “They assaulted and humiliated our family. They stripped my mother partially, poured urine and other disgusting substances on me, and physically attacked the monarch.”
