There are a bunch of new Netflix movies and shows on the way in June 2021. After the pandemic caused production delays around the world, we didn’t see many new Netflix movies and shows for a few months earlier this year.

That seems to be changing now with tons of Netflix new releases coming in June 2021.

Netflix has not shared the full list of new releases for June yet. We’re expecting to see that in the next few days. We do know a bunch of the new movies and shows that are on the way.

New movies on Netflix

For the first time in a while, the new Netflix movies coming in a given month is better than the list of TV shows coming to Netflix.

If you’re looking for what to watch on Netflix next month, you’ll want to pay close attention to the titles listed below. We picked out a few of the top new movies you have to watch in June.

Awake (June 9): Gina Rodriguez stars in the new Netflix thriller. According to Netflix, a mother tries to protect her family after humans lose the ability to sleep, which sends the populace into a tailspin.

Wish Dragon (June 11): Wish Dragon is a new animated Netflix movie. After Din, a teen, finds a dragon that grants him three wishes, he tries to reunite with an old friend. The film has an incredible voice cast with John Cho, Constance Wu, Jimmy Wong, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jimmy O. Yang, Aaron Yoo, Will Yun Lee, and Ronny Chieng

Fatherhood (June 18): Kevin Hart stars in the new Netflix movie, Fatherhood, which tells the story of a dad trying to raise his daughter. Lil Rel Howery and Alfre Woodard also star in the film, which is based on a true story.

Good on Paper (June 23): Iliza Shlesinger stars in Good on Paper, a new Netflix movie about a stand-up comic who finds the perfect guy, played by Ryan Hansen, but he’s too good to be true, right?

The Ice Road (June 25): Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne stars in the action thriller about a trucker who sets out to save a group of trapped miners.

New shows on Netflix

It’s going to be a slower month for new shows on Netflix in June, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. There are so many good shows to watch on Netflix right now!

Kim’s Convenience season 5 (June 2): The final season of Kim’s Convenience hits Netflix on June 2. You can watch the first four seasons right now.

Sweet Tooth (June 4): Sweet Tooth is a new post-apocalyptic series based on the DC Comic of the same name. It tells the story of hybrid humans and a young boy trying to survive.

Lupin Part 2 (June 11): The second half of Lupin, starring Omar Sy, arrives on Netflix on June 11.

Elite season 4 (June 18): The new season of Elite premieres on Netflix on June 18. There are a few new cast members for the fourth season. With it, they bring a bunch of new drama to Las Encinas.

We’re also expecting Seinfeld and Too Hot to Handle season 2 to be coming to Netflix in June 2021. We just don’t know when yet!
