NEW Love Island hunk Ope’s primetime TV past has been revealed as he’s appeared on huge BBC and ITV hit shows.
The West End performer was heading into the villa but this won’t be his first rodeo on television.

The 27-year-old appeared on in 2024 as one of the dancers in a group number.
In a video he uploaded on his , Ope is seen dancing alongside Sarah Hadland and other dancers to the song Popular from the musical Wicked.
He penned on his page at the time: “Dope time dancing on @bbcstrictly.”
Ope also starred on ‘s in 2024 in a group number alongside Dec, and .
The performer wore a neon pink unbuttoned shirt with matching trousers as he danced energetically with the group.
Sharing the exciting moment on his socials, he gushed: “Ant and Dec Saturday night takeaway finale.
“Such a blessing to be a part of such an iconic series”
Ahead of his appearance on Love Island, Ope said: “I’m never playing anything safe, that’s boring.
“My thing is to go for the goal and make someone laugh straight away. I think that’s the key to love and the key to getting girls.
“My ultimate thing in life is to make people feel comfortable around me, so as soon as that happens, I’m sweet. And I’ve got the best smile in Britain.”

Sharing how he’s going to handle the competition, he revealed: “No one phases me. I’m so confident in my ability to just do my thing.
“I don’t get phased, I don’t get impersonated, I don’t get threatened. It’s not even about them, it’s about me.
“I’m very confident in myself as a person. I love my beauty, I love my looks, I love my humour.
“If someone fancies someone else more than me, then that’s on them. I won’t take it personally.”
Ope will be joined in the villa by other stars including quantity surveyor and DJ, Robyn, student Mica, business owner Lorenzo and primary school teacher Sean.
Also hoping to find love are real estate videographer Ellie, model Samraj, detective Lola and nurse Angelista.
Rounding out the line up are electrician Samuel, and property broker Aidan.
