Never Have I Ever season 2 release date set for July 2021 on Netflix

Published on April 14, 2021 at 07:28 PM

Never Have I Ever season 2 is coming to Netflix a lot sooner than we thought!

Based on production schedules and timelines, we were thinking Never Have I Ever season 2 might not premiere until the fall of 2021, but it looks like that might not be the case after all.

We knew Never Have I Ever season 2 wasn't coming to Netflix in April 2021, even though the first season premiered on Netflix in April 2020 and new seasons of Netflix shows are usually released about a year apart.

Never Have I Ever season 2 release date

Deadline reported Common has joined the cast of Never Have I Ever season 2. In the report, it was also mentioned that Never Have I Ever season 2 will be added to Netflix in July 2021.

So, we don't have the exact release date for the new season of the series. I can't imagine we'll have to wait much longer for that, though. Netflix is sharing the first look at the second season on social media. When that happens, we're only a few weeks away from teasers, trailers, and more.

Usually, Netflix will share a release date announcement with a short teaser video a month or two before the season is ready to be released. So, you can probably expect that to happen in May or, at the latest, June 2021.

We know Netflix likes to add new seasons of popular shows around the holidays. We saw Stranger Things season 3 on the Fourth of July weekend of 2019 and The Baby-Sitters Club on the holiday weekend in 2020. Perhaps, we could see Never Have I Ever season 2 on Netflix for that weekend in 2021? I hope so!

Stay tuned for more news about the Never Have I Ever season 2 release date. We'll be sure to share the exact date with you when we find out.
