NETFLIX has added a brand new feature that lets users share clips from their favourite series or movie with friends via messaging apps.
An update to the Moments tool works with , , text message or just about anywhere you can send links.

Moments launched last year on mobile, allowing viewers to save a starting point from a specific scene in shows or movies on , so they could easily revisit them later much like a bookmark.
But as of today you can now set an end point too, essentially turning it into a full clip you can come back to at any time to share or re-watch.
You can set up to a two minutes with each clip.
The move comes as Season 2 Part 2 of the popular comes to the platform.
Thousands of Moments have been saved since it first appeared on and .
has led the list of popular scenes, including the Saja Boys’ debut performance of Soda Pop, followed by their hit tracks Your Idol and How It’s Done.
“At its heart, this feature is about giving members the ability to celebrate and share their favorite stories while curating an experience that feels uniquely their own,” said Elmar Nubbemeyer, VP of Member Product at Netflix.
“Alongside this, we are testing other innovations for mobile-specific use cases that we first announced back in May, like our vertical video feed for watching clips of your favorite entertainment on the go, and an AI-powered search feature that works well for planning what to watch later.
“This is just the beginning of a more dynamic Netflix experience with features and designs that feel intentionally made for mobile devices.”
How to save a clip on Netflix
You can only save and send clips using the mobile versions of Netflix.
Pause at your desired scene and look for the Clip button that should appear among the options on screen.
Tap it and tools to adjust where the scene ends will show up that you can slide as
Once saved, it’ll stay in your My Netflix tab, where you can re-watch or share.
