NEIGHBOURS star Ryan Moloney thought he was ‘losing his mind’ after falling ‘incredibly ill’ during Celeb SAS filming.
The 46-year-old actor took part in the most recent series of the show, which saw Aussie stars go head to head with famous faces from the UK.

While Ryan – best known for playing Toadie in – started out well and took the discipline it required seriously, viewers soon began to see him struggling.
Speaking about what happened during filming, Ryan exclusively told The Sun Online via JoeFortune : “The unfortunate thing is I didn’t realise I was actually incredibly ill throughout it.”
He continued: “It turns out and half of my insides were pushed up underneath my left lung.
“I was having these uncontrollable emotional waves, and I was like, what the hell is this? It was so weird.
“Normally, when you’re upset about something, you know what it’s about, but I had no idea and genuinely felt like I was losing my mind.
“But as it turns out, there’s a nerve that runs through your stomach that’s responsible for a lot of your emotions. It’s called the vagus nerve.”
His health situation meant Ryan unfortunately had to , becoming the seventh recruit to leave.
At the time, Ryan – who has – told his co-stars: “I’m mentally spiralling.
“I can’t remember if I’ve taken my medication twice or not. I can’t remember what happened to my knife and fork.”
asked him: “Do you feel the worse you’ve felt in a little while.”

As he broke down in tears he confessed: “It’s uncontrollable.”
Despite the sad end to his Celebrity SAS journey, Ryan has no regrets over taking part.
He said: “It was full-on and scary, but at the same time so rewarding.
“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and you just have to put yourself in it 100 per cent, throw yourself in and do your absolute best at everything, and kind of see what comes out in the end.”
During the chat, Ryan also revealed why he if the Aussie soap was rebooted for a second time.
He had played Toadie from 1995 until his exit in 2025, which came just before the soap ended for a second time.
