Who is Nathan Barnatt?
Nathan Barnatt, 45, was born on February 2, 1981 in Milford, Massachusetts.
He grew up in Milford before moving to Los Angeles to pursue comedy.
Before his move to the west coast of America, Barnatt worked as a grave digger in Massachusetts.
It was in 2008 when he first broke into TV, appearing on Comedy Central’s ‘The Gong Show with Dave Attell’ – this was a revival of the 1970’s comedy game show in which a panel of three judges could kick a performer from the stage if they didn’t like the act.

Since the success of Youth Large, he has sold shows to Nickelodeon, , Comedy Central, Fox and Viceland.
Alongside this, he has appeared in music videos for some huge stars, including Flo Rida’s ‘Let It Roll’, Kimberly Cole’s ‘U Make Me Wanna’, ‘Sugar’ by Robin Schulz and ‘Summer’ by Marshmello.
In 2019, the actor launched a channel called ‘Dad’ where he played the main character in a series called ‘Dad Feels’.
This series became a success after its first season in 2020, when Barnatt was suffering huge financial trouble at the time, which led to him sleeping in his van.
He also appeared on an episode of Rental Reviews, where he appeared as both himself and character Keith Apicary from ‘Animation Domination High-Def’, ‘Axe Cop’ and ‘Youth Large’.
Alter-ego
In 2021, Barnatt appeared on as his character Apicary and made it to the quarter-finals for his dance routines.
He got through to the knockout stages performing a dance routine to “Cutie Cutie” by fusq – where he humped the floor.
Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Cowell all gave him a yes to advance into the quarters.
But he failed to progress to the semis with Cowell buzzing him out and crushing his hopes.
