A human rights activist and lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has criticised Nigerian Senate over its letter barring the return of Kogi Central Senator, Natasha-Akpoti Uduaghan.

Effiong made his views known on Tuesday, while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.

DAILY POST reports that the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday told Natasha that , despite completing her six-month suspension.

Responding, the human rights activist stated that he found the letter of the senate embarrassing, scandalous, contemptuous and very disparaging of the Nigerian people.
