THIS is the moment a naked tourist was tasered and arrested on a notorious holiday island after terrorising other travellers in a nude beach rampage.

The German man sparked panic on ‘s after stealing a woman’s phone, a motorbike and a kayak – all without clothes on.

allege the man began behaving erratically on Wednesday morning, starting his drug-fuelled spree by approaching a woman outside a 7-Eleven.

Body-warn camera footage shows the officers catching up with him around 6pm on Chalok Beach on the southern part of the island.

Cops can be seen on speedboats trying to stop the naked suspect as he makes a break for the shoreline.

Officers were forced to fire a taser at him when he refused to listen.

One of the cops on the scene said the full details were still being investigated.

“Several victims may need to come forward and file complaints, as he was involved in multiple incidents,” the officer from the tactical squad of Provincial Police Region 8 said.

“It started when he approached a woman outside a 7-Eleven and asked for her .

“When she refused, he pretended to ask to check a map, then suddenly grabbed her phone and sped off on a motorbike.”

Police say he later stole a motorcycle and then a kayak.

“As a result, the team from Provincial Police Region 8 had to pursue him by speedboat,” the officer said.

“[He] tried to swim away in the sea around the island before coming ashore on Chalok Beach.

“We used a Taser X7 to safely control the situation. Non-lethal equipment is extremely important in places like this.”

The man was detained by Koh Tao rescuers and later taken to the hospital.

He remains in police custody as the continues.

The officer said police deal with similar situations to this “almost every night”.

Hotel receptionist Kotchakorn Baipimai said the naked man had been reported for following two women trying to check into a hotel on the island.

“At first, I thought he came with them, but something felt wrong,” Baipimai said.

“The two women were not speaking and looked very frightened, as if they were about to cry.”

She said the man had attempted to get close to the women, so she told him to leave.

“I do not know whether he was drunk or under the influence of something,” Baipimai added.

“He eventually went outside and rode off on a motorbike.”

She said the man had been wearing underwear at the time of the ordeal.

“When we asked the guests what had happened, they said they had noticed him already parked on a motorbike behind the shuttle vehicle when they arrived,” she said.

“As soon as they got out and walked in to check in, he started following them.

“The guests said it was their first time visiting Koh Tao when this happened.”

Koh Tao is one of the most popular scuba diving locations in the world.

Two Burmese labourers were allegedly framed for the murders in order to protect the real killer – believed to be the son of a prominent local family.
