Naira records three straight appreciations against US dollar

The Naira on Wednesday recorded three straight appreciations against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market.

The Central Bank of Nigeria showed that the on Wednesday, up from N1,506.09 exchanged on Tuesday.

This indicates that the Naira gained significantly by N5.17 on a day-to-day basis.

At the black market, the Naira remained stable at N1,530 per dollar on Wednesday, the same rate recorded since Monday.

DAILY POST reports that this is the third time the Naira has traded impressively this week. From Monday to Wednesday, the Naira has firmed up by N5.92 on the back of a continued surge in external reserves, which stood at $41.596 billion as of September 9th, 2025.
