Naira Marley was bigger than Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy before scanda l- VeryDarkMan

Self-styled activist, Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, has claimed that Nigerian singer, Naira Marley was bigger than his colleagues, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy, before he became a victim of cancel culture following accusations of involvement in his former signee, Mohbad’s death.

He made the claim while speaking on the dangers of cancel culture in a recent video broadcast on TikTok, noting that Naira Marley’s fanbase otherwise called, Marlians, were the largest fanbase in the country before the singer was “cancelled.”

VDM said, “Naira Marley was bigger than Wizkid, Burna boy and Davido. He had a very large fanbase both in Nigeria and abroad until this Mohbad issue. The music industry is so dark. The jealousy in the industry is too much.”

He urged the relevant authorities to conclude the issues surrounding Mohbad’s death so that the public can move on from it.

DAILY POST recalls that a court recently dismissed Mohbad’s father’s suit against Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry, stating that there was insufficient evidence to link them directly to the death.
