The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced that its airstrikes have successfully neutralized multiple terrorists in the North-West and North-East regions of Nigeria.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Director of Public Relations and Information at the Headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force, stated that these successes resulted from intelligence-driven air interdictions.
According to the statement, in Katsina State, NAF aircraft conducted two coordinated strikes on 27 November 2025. The first strike, launched around 0630 hours, targeted the fortified base of a notorious terrorist leader associated with serial kidnappings, violent attacks, and livestock rustling across the Kankara, Faskari, and Malumfashi Local Government Areas (LGAs).
“Guided by real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), the aircraft accurately destroyed the camp with precision munitions, while continuous ISR facilitated follow-on engagements as surviving fighters attempted to escape,” he explained.
The second strike, carried out at approximately 1755 hours, targeted another significant terrorist stronghold in Danfako, Faskari LGA, destroying logistics hubs, structures, equipment, and operational infrastructure. Several terrorists were neutralized, further degrading their networks and denying them safe havens in the North-West.
In Borno State, ground troops from the 28 Task Force Brigade, Sector 4 OPERATION HADIN KAI (OPHK), successfully repelled a coordinated multi-front attack by ISWAP/Boko Haram on Chibok. Additionally, NAF aircraft conducted four major strikes, guided by real-time intelligence from ground forces, against regrouping insurgents along their escape route, inflicting significant losses.
The statement emphasized that these operations highlight the NAF’s steadfast commitment to precise, surgical engagements.
This commitment aims to neutralize threats, restore security, and protect the lives and properties of citizens, with a firm resolve to continue collaborating with ground forces and other security agencies to restore peace throughout the country.
