MYHA’LA may be best known for her intense dramatic roles, but the US actress is about to take a giant leap onto British reality TV.
The star is swapping Hollywood for the Scottish Highlands for the second series of , supported by her husband Armando Rivera.
Who is Myha’la?
Myha’la is a 30-year-old actress from .
She is best known for her role as Harper Stern on the HBO/BBC series , which follows finance graduates.
Myha’la stars in the show alongside Marisa Abela, also known for playing in Back to Black, and from Game of Thrones.
Myha’la hopes that her involvement in Celebrity Traitors will help separate how people see her and Harper.
She said: “I am nothing like Harper.
“I’m more of a kill-them-with-kindness kind of girl rather than a blatantly bullish bulldog.
“I’ll be interested to see how this one goes because I feel like I will be battling Harper’s persona and the perception of her.”

Rivera is also an actor, who is still in the early stages of his career.
His biggest credit so far is from the indie feature Any Day Now.
Before joining the industry, Rivera was a college student in the Bay Area.
How did Myha’la meet Armando Rivera?
Myha’la and Armando Rivera met through — a thoroughly modern love story.
She caught Armando’s eye on the first season of Industry and he sent a congratulatory message letting her know he was a huge fan.
After Myha’la thanked him, Armando’s response was a string of video messages explaining that he was studying journalism in college and asking if he could interview her for an exam.
On the Therapuss with Jake Shane, Myha’la admitted she was nervous to open the messages at first.
She continued: “So, I looked at his profile and was like, ‘Oh, he’s kind of cute. I guess I’ll watch it.'”
What was supposed to be a brief chat turned into a 45-minute Zoom call.
Myha’la remembers flirting with him and asking him questions about himself, recalling: “Wow, I’m in love with a stranger. How weird.”
After three weeks of constant messaging, Armando finally asked for the actress’s phone number, which led to “little FaceTime dates”.
When they were able to finally meet in person, she agreed with Jake that it was love at first sight.
Myha’la added: “It was still very deep COVID, so when I got there, I was testing every day, and the test results weren’t getting back [in time].
I was like, ‘F**k it, I’m just going to go and hope for the best.'”

Myha’la and Armando Rivera tied the knot on January 5, 2025.
The couple kept their marriage secret for a full year and publicly announced it on their first anniversary, January 5, 2026.
Myha’la captioned the announcement: “One year of marriage.
