Authorities have initiated a murder investigation after a teenager was stabbed and “left” in the street.
Multiple cordons were established last night following the discovery of the victim, believed to be 19 years old, who was found by officers with serious injuries in the Harehills area around 12 PM yesterday.
He was declared dead shortly thereafter.
The individual is thought to have been assaulted in a different part of the city before being abandoned on St Wilfried’s Crescent.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police stated: “Detectives have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a man in Leeds.”
“At approximately 12 PM today (8 October), we received a report that a man was found on St Wilfrid’s Crescent, Harehills, with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after.”
“He has not yet been formally identified. Several scenes are currently in place as extensive inquiries are conducted, including Parkside View, St Wilfrid’s Crescent, and Amberton Crescent.”
“Officers from the Homicide and Major Inquiry team are urging anyone who was in these areas around 12 PM and may have witnessed anything to come forward with any information.”
“Local neighborhood policing patrols have been increased in the area to provide reassurance.”
