Sitting in a tyre, she is told “don’t be scared”, before a worker pushes her down the slide at a theme park in Chinacota, .

Cristel asks: “Will anyone be waiting for me?”

The worker then tells her that there is a pool at the bottom that “always catches people”.

The mum-of-one is released and she speeds down the slide.

But Cristel is thrown off the ride at a bend and flies through the air.

She fell around 15ft, crashing into the ground below.

The young mum was rushed to hospital, but nothing could be done to save her and she died of her injuries.

A staff member at the top of the slide can be heard exclaiming in shock: “Oh, she came off.”

The ride, which is touted on the park’s website as “the only slide with a bend” had reportedly opened just a few weeks before the tragic accident.

Cristel is survived by her four-year-old daughter.

Yuris Cristel Camila Garcia Manrique, a member of Cristel’s family, said no one from Entre Flores, who ran the ride, had been in touch them.

She said: “So far, this establishment has not contacted us at any time to say that they will assist us with the young woman’s or to say that they will respond.

“We reject what the lawyer for this establishment said, that they have contacted the family.

“At no point have they contacted the girl’s mother or us.
