According to the sobbing mum, who also shared the story on her Facebook page, her son Teon, seven, has been diagnosed with , which has affected his speech and ability to walk.

“This is not just equipment. This is his independence. His mobility. His freedom,” Tamica shared in a devastating post on her page.

“Without it, he cannot leave the house.”

The white-base “custom powdered wheelchair” has been missing since the evening on February 20th when it was allegedly stolen from “a private/secure garage” in South East London.

Emotional, Tamica shared her fury in a recent video , begging people online to “share” the clip in hopes to locate the missing wheelchair.

“I’m actually sick of this country, how bummy this country is. How have I come home from my mum’s house – I spent a night at my mum’s house – and I come home and my son’s wheelchair is stolen?”

The devastated mother, who reached out to the police following the incident, also went to the concierge’s office to see if there’s any CCTV footage – however, to no avail.

Tamica’s latest update on Facebook claimed the building security manager still “hasn’t released the CCTV footage from Saturday and hasn’t responded to any emails regarding this”.

“Police cannot reopen the case without this,” she continued, fearing that by the time she hears back the wheelchair “could be in a whole another country”.

“If you guys see this wheelchair, from South East London, please let me know because my son’s got school on Monday,” she said in the clip posted over the weekend.

“Worst thing is they can see that it’s a child’s wheelchair – so I don’t understand any type of morals or values that people have. It’s not making sense,” sobbing Tamica said.

“I’m begging and pleading because my son needs to use it. He’s an active user and without that I have to carry him around and he’s a bit more heavy now.”

Sharing her speculations, the heartbroken mum said she felt the alleged incident could’ve been a two-people job as “the wheelchair itself is very heavy”.

“Please, just message me, even if you feel like you think it’s the same one as my son’s – please, just message me. I’ll be forever grateful and hopefully, I’ll be able to give anyone a reward whoever can help me find it.”

According to Tamica, who’s since started a Gofundme page for donations, she had unplugged the wheelchair prior to last placing it in the garage.

“So if you see people pushing it, it could be his as well.”

Tamica’s sister Charlene Russel wrote: “A powered chair like this is expensive, and replacing it quickly is critical so Teon can get back to school, appointments, and his normal routine again. We’re fundraising to cover the costs.

“If you’re able, please donate , absolutely anything helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much and helps us reach the right people.

“Thank you so much for supporting Teon and helping us get his independence back.”

According to Tamica, the wheelchair is:

  • Custom built
  • White base
  • May still have flight tags attached including British Airways tags from our recent holiday
  • Contains personal identifying details.
