A WOMAN who’s lost over two stone in just 21 weeks on Mounjaro has revealed she was left bedbound for 24 hours after eating a kebab.

Cheryl has been sharing updates on her TikTok page throughout her journey on the injections – talking about and also her fails.

Woman preparing to administer a Mounjaro injection.Cheryl has been documenting her Mounjaro journey on her TIkTok pageWoman in gray long-sleeve shirt joyfully raises her arm.She looks incredible after 21 weeks on the jabsWoman lying in bed, appearing unwell.But she recently had a kebab – after which she was bedbound for 24 hours

And the kebab fell into the latter category, as she explained in a new video.

“To build the full picture for you here... I ordered and ate the 24 hours ago, a full day ago,”; she said.

“And I have basically been in my bed for a full day since then.

“I have never experienced anything like that.”;

While she couldn’t even manage a quarter of the kebab, the side effects were instant, as she said her “stomach started churning”; – but not just with nausea.

“I really felt like if I moved the wrong way I was going to throw up,”; Cheryl sighed.

“I was honestly scared to roll over in bed because I just thought if I make one move here, this is all coming up.”;

When she woke up the next morning, she went straight into the bathroom, where she stayed for the next hour.

“Then I fell on a heap in my bed and basically passed out for most of the day,”; she continued.

“It’s now nearly five o’clock and I have just had a shower.

“And I’m trying to get some kind of energy to get downstairs and eat because I haven’t eaten for 24 hours.”;

Cheryl added that she thinks the fact she’s on a higher dose had a massive impact on her reaction to the greasy food, as she had also tried a kebab on a lower dose and insisted it was “no bother”;.

As for her reaction on the higher dose, she concluded: “It was in absolutely no way worth it at all.

“Not one mouthful. Never again!”;

While some people used the comments section to tell Cheryl they could entirely relate to her tale, others weren’t as kind – and ended up trolling her instead.

“If you’re trying to why are you eating kebabs? No self control?”; one questioned.

“Show some discipline and stop eating s**t,”; another raged.

“Why be on Mounjaro if you won’t change anything regarding diet?”; a third sighed.

“Honestly now – that is a high level of laziness I cannot comprehend.(and I am struggling with weight loss myself),”; someone else said.

However, Cheryl hit back, as she said: “What makes you think I haven’t changed my diet and don’t work out most days???

“Please know what you are talking about next time before you comment.”;

She also responded to the trolls in another video, as she explained her reasoning for having the kebab – admitting some of the people commenting had a “fair point”;.

“I am not on a diet. I am on a complete lifestyle change, which is very, very different,”; Cheryl explained.

“In my opinion, a diet is something you’re on short term. I am not on this short term.

“I am on this journey for the foreseeable future.

“That means I am not being restrictive or seeing food or good or bad
If I want to eat something, I will eat it.

“And 95% of the time, I am making better choices, good choices and healthy choices – and that’s because of the Mounjaro.”;

In the comments section of that video – in which Cheryl admitted she used to have takeaways up to three times a week before Mounjaro – other people praised her for her honesty.

“Why do people think that dieting means starving yourself and eating lettuce leaves?”; one wrote.

“Moderation is the key, depriving yourself leads to binging. And if you’re within your calorie deficit, nothing it out of limit.”;

“How dare you try and eat something that you might enjoy – sawdust for you from now on,”; another joked, urging Cheryl to “ignore the trolls”;.

“Eat what you want – you probably felt like crap because your taste is changing and your body wants the good stuff,”; a third mused.

As someone else wrote: “Just ignore them hun and don’t take any negative comment to heart.”;
