A MAJOR UK motorway has been fully closed following a multiple vehicle collision.
Drivers have been told to expect 30 minute delays with three miles of congestion.
The M62 between J29 and J30 is closed due to a multi-vehicle collision
The eastbound carriageway of the M62 in West Yorkshire has been entirely shut down between J29 and J30.
Emergency services were rushed to the scene following reports of a serious collision involving multiple vehicles.
The crash happened between junction 29 for the M1 at Lofthouse and junction 30 at Rothwell at around 4:15pm on April 20.
The westbound side of the carriageway also has three of its four lanes closed.
National Highways has warned drivers of 30 minute delays with congestion reaching three miles long.
