THE ‘most exciting horse in the world’ is set for a shock new jockey at Goodwood â with his usual rider banned and Oisin Murphy snubbed.
The awesome Field Of Gold is already odds-on for the blockbuster Group 1 Sussex Stakes at the Glorious meeting at the end of the month.

But Juddmonte’s No1 rider Colin Keane will miss the race owing to a whip ban he picked up at Sandown last week.
Matt Chapman had argued for Kieran Shoemark to be reunited with the 2,000 Guineas runner-up.
But that looks a long shot with the stunning grey’s only defeat as a three-year-old coming at the hands of the former John & Thady Gosden jockey.
Oisin Murphy is a regular in the famous pink and green silks but it appears the Irishman â who was recently fined £70,000 for drink-driving â will be overlooked.
While Rossa Ryan, another who deputises in the Juddmonte colours, won’t get the chance either.
And, according to the Nick Luck Daily podcast, that has paved the way for William Buick to take the ride.
Buick and Gosden have a long and successful past, including landing this year’s Gold Cup with Trawlerman.
But the legendary trainer didn’t look best pleased in a video of him chatting to Buick after Ombudsman’s shock Coral-Eclipse defeat last weekend.
Godolphin’s No1 rider will get the chance to put that right for one of his employer’s biggest rivals at Goodwood, though.
Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James’s Palace winner Field Of Gold is 8-13 to win the Sussex.
Godolphin don’t currently look like having a runner in the race, with Richard Hannon’s Rosallion the 6-1 second fav and Aidan O’Brien pair Henri Matisse and The Lion In Winter both 10-1.
