FRANK WARREN has issued a health update on Moses Itauma following his crushing loss to Filip Hrgovic.

But the Brit ended up suffering an ninth-round TKO defeat to the Croatian clubber Credit: REUTERS
was cruising to a points victory before being gripped by fatigue in the eighth.
Hrgovic pounced on the Brit, who repeatedly used the ropes to stay upright, immediately after the final restart of the fight.
And referee Howard Foster decided he’d seen enough at the 2:27 mark after seeing the breathless Brit take hard shots while trapped in the corner.
Itauma had to be and taken immediately to the hospital.
The slick southapaw has yet to issue a statement on his condition.
But in his post-fight interview, Itauma promoter revealed the prospect had suffered an injury no one had picked up on during the bout.
The Queensberry Promotions chief said: “Moses has gone to hospital. He has done something to his leg.
“He did something to his leg and he was exhausted, is the truth of it.

“It was a very fast-paced fight.”
Fatigue took a hold of Itauma has he punched himself out trying to get a big finish.
But Hrgovic’s chin withstood the hellfire being rained down, much to the surprise of fight fans around the world.
Itauma is now facing serious questions over his cardio following his first professional loss.
And Warren admits he’ll have to work on it if he wants to become a world champion.
He said: “He got caught and the fighting instinct was to stand there and let his shots go.
“That’s what it is at the top level. You have to tick all the boxes.
“He has got to learn from the fight and will hopefully do that.”
