PREGNANT Michelle Ackerley was rushed to hospital just moments after coming off air from Morning Live.
The BBC star, who is expecting a baby girl with her husband Ben Ryan, returned to the show earlier this month after the summer break.



But Michelle, 41, has been mysteriously absent in recent weeks, last being seen on the programme on Sept 8.
The TV presenter has now revealed that she was rushed to hospital and admitted for four days.
She explained that she had a and was diagnosed with labyrinthitis, which is a type of inner ear infection that can affect your balance.
Sharing a health update with her fans on Instagram, Michelle showed off her growing bump after being discharged.
She wrote alongside it: “Well it’s been quite the rollercoaster of a few days this end.
“Had such a lovely day back at work with the awesome BBC Morning Live team last Monday.
“Then unfortunately ended up in hospital with labyrinthitis for the next 4 days.
“I don’t know if anybody has had it before but it ain’t ideal.
“I have to stay the midwives at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester were amazing and kept me calm with all the anxieties of being ill whilst pregnant. Resting up and nesting up at home now.”
Michelle told fans that she is now on maternity leave from Morning Live, which prompted fans to say how much they’d miss her on the show.
She added: “I’ll be back on BBC Morning Live in the new year though with a new baby addition to add to the family.”
One fan commented: “Aww so sorry to hear this such a shame to have not seen you on your last show before maternity leave. Rest up and nest and keep being the endo warrior you are.”
A second wrote: “Sending lots of love to you! So pleased to see you at home after your hospital stay. Big hugs xx”
In May, Michelle with her first child.
And she confirmed the exciting news live on air on the One show.
Appearing alongside her co-host , Michelle delighted the day’s guests with the confirmation that she is expecting.
Speaking on the show, Gethin teased had some news to which she responded: “Yes, I am four months pregnant!”
She continued: “I still can’t quite believe it myself really.”
Gethin went on to share how Michelle had told him that husband Ben had been a very calming presence throughout the pregnancy.
then said: “He has been so chilled.
“The thing is, I’m not really sleeping well at the moment so I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night at 3am and I’ve been taking it upon myself to wake Ben up and say this is what we are going to have to get used to!”
Michelle went on to discuss her pregnancy in a lengthy Instagram post in which she also addressed her fertility woes.
The TV presenter said: “I can’t believe it’s nearly been a year since getting married and I honestly didn’t think 12months on that I’d be writing a post sharing that I’m pregnant….
“I wanted to share though as my journey with endometriosis and infertility is something I finally felt confident to start speaking about more openly last year – realising how many other women were going through similar experiences.
“Feeling part of a community – especially when it comes to women’s health can really make a difference.
“Even at the very start of this year I was gearing up for yet another endo procedure and trying to come to terms with the mental & physical impact they can have.
“It has been quite the emotional rollercoaster.
“The news of falling pregnant really came as a massive surprise to both of us. We still can’t quite believe it.
“And so in October, the start of a new chapter begins for @benryan7s and I, albeit with nervous and cautious excitement.”
Ben and Michelle – who have a ten year age gap – had been dating for years in 2023 and married last year.
The former rugby star used to coach the Fiji National rugby team – helping them scoop a gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
