Speaking to the camera while sitting in her car, Montana began: “Hey guys, about to head into the shops, but I wanted to share with you that I think I might be going through, like, a quarter life crisis.

“I know I’ve been a little bit quiet on here, and I don’t know if any other parents can relate to this. I mean I say parents but I’m going to target this at mothers because I feel like this is a mother’s issue.

“People keep asking me oh why don’t you have Jude [her son] in school.”

The star then revealed the reason why she’s thinking of not sending Jude to school.

Montana continued: “I am petrified of sending him to school because it means I’m tied to the school run.

“And I don’t know why but I’m having like a freak out. I feel like I’m questioning everything and I feel really unsettled at the minute because I feel like all my possibilities are coming down.

“I’m like what if I want to study something. What if I want to become a doctor or something? What if I want to travel South America?

“All my possibilities are gone and I know that they’re not gone and I can still do those things but it feels like I can’t because, quite frankly, my kids need me.”

Montana finished the video off by explaining how she’s cried over the feeling of claustrophobia the decision brings, and that she hopes listeners don’t just think that she’s “clinically insane”.

However, many viewers of the video thought it was rather privileged and unfair of her to possibly not send her son to school in order to keep more freedom for herself.

Taking to the post’s comments section, one user said: “I don’t think you’re clinically insane, I think you’re privileged. Most of us mothers are studying/working whilst our children are at school? Did you not consider the school run when having a baby? You can’t deny your child an experience at school because you want to pursue your dreams.”

A second shared: “Is your attachment style avoidant?”

A third added: “Most people think about this before having kids.”

This isn’t the first time Montana has ruffled the feathers of fans.

Earlier this year a comment she made about left busy mothers who saw them as a convenient option feeling patronised.
