MLS: Messi makes demands from Inter Miami players after latest 3-0 defeat

Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi, has called on his team-mates to remain united and get through their hard time after their 3-0 home defeat to Orlando City in the Major League Soccer, MLS, on Sunday night.

The defeat means Inter Miami have won just one game in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Speaking after the game, the Argentina captain told Apple TV: “It’s a difficult time, but we are going to come through this.

“Now we will really see if we are a team.

“These are difficult times. When everything is going well it is very easy, but when difficult times come like now.

“We have to be more united than ever, be a real team, and get through it,”;; he stated.

Inter Miami’s next game is against leaders Philadelphia on Sunday.

Inter Miami currently sit in 6th position with 22 points on the log.
