EUROPEAN football is in mourning following the tragic passing of Mladen Zizovic.
The 44-year-old Bosnian collapsed during the 22nd minute of Radnički 1923’s match against Mladost in the top flight on Sunday evening.

Medics swiftly attended to him and transported him to the hospital, but unfortunately, they were unable to save his life.
The match was immediately halted, but the referee resumed play as Zizovic was being taken to the hospital.
Tragically, just 20 minutes later, it was confirmed that he had passed away.
Players and coaches from both teams were overcome with emotion on the pitch, leading to the match being abandoned.
Zizovic, a former Bosnia international, had only been appointed as coach on October 23, with the Mladost match being just his third in charge.
Tributes flooded in from across the football community for Zizovic, who is survived by three children.
A statement from the Serbian FA expressed: “The Association of Serbia has received with deep sorrow and disbelief the news of the sudden passing of FK Radnički 1923 coach Mladen Žižović, who died at the age of 45 during the Mozzart Bet Super League match between Mladost and Radnički 1923 in Lučani.
“His untimely departure is a great loss for the entire football community.
“The Football Association of Serbia extends its deepest condolences to the Žižović family, the members of FK Radnički 1923, and all friends and admirers of his character and work.
“Rest in peace, Mladen. Your passion for football and the legacy you left will remain with us forever.”
Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade remarked: “We are saddened to learn that Radnički’s coach from Kragujevac, Mladen Žižović, has passed away suddenly.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and club.”
