The search for a hiker who disappeared after ascending Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) has ended in sorrow following his disappearance on Monday morning.
Kieran, 27, has tragically been found deceased after hiking up Yr Wyddfa.
Kieran, 27, from Worcestershire, reached the summit of Wales’ tallest peak on Monday morning, according to the Daily Post Wales.
He was last seen at Bwlch Glas around midday, prompting an alert later that afternoon.
Authorities, including police, mountain rescue teams, a Coastguard helicopter, and members of the public participated in the search for Kieran.
The search continued into Tuesday, when police confirmed that Kieran’s body had been located.
His family has been notified, and the coroner has been informed.
Chief Inspector Emma Parry stated: “My heartfelt condolences go out to Kieran’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
“This is not the outcome we had hoped for, and I would like to extend my gratitude to partner agencies and everyone who assisted in our searches.
“The family also wishes to express their thanks to the mountain rescue teams who aided in the search for Kieran, along with all other agencies involved.”
